The Money Stays Yours.

Agoo is software. It issues no value and holds no balances. Sales on your own account go to your own account. On Agoo's keys the money is split at source and paid to you by the provider, so Agoo isn't sitting on it, and in the rare arrangement where Agoo's share is agreed in a partnership, that share is written down first.

Built Not to Be the Weak Point.

The likely way into a shop is a person, so the product defends the person too: a screen isn't proof, a refund goes back the way it came, and a risky action asks for someone with authority.

Keys Kept Apart

Provider keys are sealed per merchant. They never reach a till, a browser or a log, and staff can use them without seeing them.

No Card Numbers

No card number or PIN is ever typed into, or stored by, Agoo POS. A certified reader or your provider takes the card, and we get the answer.

Each Person Their Own Reach

A sale, a price change, a stock adjustment, a refund, a payout and an export are separate permissions, by role and by branch.

Nothing Quietly Edited

Money and stock are written as new lines. A correction is another line with a name on it, and a finished sale can't be deleted to hide a loss.

Devices That Can Be Stopped

Each till is enrolled to a business and a branch, with a limit on how long it may stay offline and what it may do while it's away. A lost one can be cut off.

Sign-In That Resists Theft

Passkeys and device approval on your Agoo ID, alerts on new sign-ins, and limits on every sign-in and code path.

Privacy

Consent Before Any Reminder or Offer

A receipt can go out without signing anyone up to marketing. Credit reminders and promotions go only to people who agreed, and a reply of STOP ends them. Handled under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). You can export all your records and take them with you, and a customer's rights are handled inside the same workflow.

Health purchases never reach a report, an employer or an offer
Each family link says what it shares, and stops when it's off
Staff surnames never print on a receipt
Personal data that's no longer needed is removed; tax records are kept as the law asks

Fairness

No Paid Scores. Ever.

No plan, discount or payment route buys a review, a verification or a higher place on Agoo Reviews. A refund is never conditional on deleting a review. Invitations are neutral and go out after the customer has what they bought. And a promotion can't invent a discount or fake scarcity.

Reports to the scam checker never name a person in public
Every report can be appealed, and a person decides
Self-checkout never accuses anyone
Nothing an assistant suggests binds you until you confirm it
