Sent Isn't the Same as Received.

A server presses Send and the ticket vanishes from their mind. The kitchen screen shows it's been sent, and whether anyone has seen it, so the plate that got lost gets found before Table 7 comes looking.

The Room

Tap the Table You're Standing At

The floor as it really is, with a state on every table: free, seated, ordered, bill asked. Move a table, merge two, hand a section to the next server. Two phones can't change one bill at the same time, and nobody can pay it twice.

  • Seats, parties, courses and held dishes
  • Split by item, by seat or by amount
  • Takeaway, counter and QR orders on the same board
  • Service charge and tips recorded apart from sales

On the Tablet

See It on the Floor Plan

A section sees its own tables first, and a hatched frame shows who has asked for the bill. A QR on the table lets someone order; it can never join another table's tab or charge it.

A Kitchen Screen That Argues Back

Oldest first, by station. Allergies stand in their own frame and can't be scrolled past or typed around. Bump a ticket to see it go, recall it if you were wrong, and 86 a dish so servers stop selling it. A re-fire is written down as a re-fire, so nothing gets cooked twice in silence.

One Crate of Tomatoes, Three Dishes

Recipes take their ingredients from stock as dishes sell, so shared ingredients can't be promised twice. Yields, waste and prep batches go in the same book, and the food cost on a plate stops being a guess.

A Tab That Survives the Evening

Open a tab on a table or a name, split it three ways at the end, and keep the empties and bottles in stock. When the internet drops, the local network keeps tabs and tickets moving in the building.
